I have a Marlklin 3750 Elizabeth generation 1 ICE engine set. It stopped working and I read the digital boards sometimes failed.

I then ordered a set of Locstore motor boards for the powered and unpowered units. I also upgraded the engine lights LED’s also from Locstore. The folks at Locstore installed a new ESU decoder and sound module. I installed the boards and lights. When I put it on my test track the lights and sound functions are all working perfectly. The motor does not work and seems to be dead? Confused

I have checked the brushes and they are seated correctly. I checked the motor armature and it is a five pole type and not the three pole version.

I would really appreciate any assistance on how to get the train working.

Thanks

Art

Was the train working OK when you received it from the ”folks at Locstore”? (I’m not familiar with them) It sounds as if they have a warranty job todo?

I just ordered the boards from locstore as the 3750 has boards that are known to fail. I will try replacing the motor and see if that is bad as well.
