An invitation was made to run European Trains on a NCE DCC system. How do you set an address on a Trix mfx lok to run on aNCE DCC system?

Excellent question. This was also asked on a digital club webinar on YouTube. Curtis Jueng and Rick Sinclair basically said that you don't. NCE is a different animal and they didn't elaborate on it. I don't know if it utilizes railcom or not. The way I would try is to program you MFX model on a CS 3 programming track after resetting the decoder and removing it from the roster and only enabling the DCC protocol. Then give it a DCC address.

With an MS2, disable mfx and set the address using DCC. Address limit is 10239. With a CS2/CS3, disable mfx and set the address using DCC. Address limit is 9999. |
