MS2 (60657) correct version today?

I did visit Märklins homepage to read and find out MS2 todays correct version but did found two version that seems wrong.
The first it stand 3.121 by download manual of the MS2.
In other places it stand 3.55.
Here in the forum somebody said version 4.15 but i can only see this at MS2 WLAN (60667).
What is the correct version of today for the standard MS2 (60657)?

MS2 firmware version 3.55 is mentioned "everywhere" because that is the first version supporting 32 functions on thr MS2.

Firmware version 3.121 is the newest. 121 is higher than 55, ergo it is a newer release.

No, the ms2/Track box has a minimum software level to work with the ms2-WLAN and its interface box, and I believe that software is 4.15 for the standard ms2, and is only available from a cs3 that has been updated on the internet. There is no USB update for a cs2 or cs3 that has this ms2 software available.

A fellow UK member of this forum with a CS3 (MU5TN4N6 - what a star!) kindly updated my wired MS2 (60657) recently. Before the update I was at v.3.55 and after I expected to see v.3.121. When I got it home, I noticed it had actually updated to v.4.15. I was initially concerned that this was an error as I understood that v.4.15 is the current SW version for the WLAN MS2. However, a quick check with the updated MS2 plugged in to my layout and everything worked just fine.

So, my two penny worth is that v.3.121 contains all the latest features for a non-WLAN MS2 but it does no harm to load v.4.15 as this contains everything in v.3.121 plus all the necessary extra features required by a WLAN MS2 (although the latter features would of course be superfluous).
