I'm no expert, but it seems like the railroad crossing at 0:45 is not wired up correctly.......

At 24:15 there is a clip from a recent train accident in Norway, where a train suffered brake failure? and failed to stop on a stop signal, and was thus led into a catch point and derailed. https://www.nsia.no/Rail/Rail/Investigations/24-300
Preliminary information indicates that the catch point "worked" and that the safety feature prevented a head-on collision with a passenger train. (The driver suffered only minor injuries)
