Help!
I need some M-track curved make-up pieces that are shorter than the 5205 M track.
Is there such a thing?
I have many short makeup straight pieces, but the shortest curved piece seems to be the 5205.
Any help is appreciated!

Hi Don
No, the shortest track section in wide radius (5200 series) is the 5205 (5° 43'°).
When I was using M track (for decades):
- using a short pieces of a different radius was no issue. Even for shorter pieces, the smallest is 8 mm long
- the M Track was rather flexible and tolerated some degree of "geometry abuse".

I never did it with M track but with C Track: to cut track pieces to what I wanted
Here is an example of a 3 way switch that has suffered of "geometry abuse" (so maybe you could do the same with M track).
The idea is to cut 2 track pieces and assemble them mechanically and electrically (glue, rail joiners and soldering) to obtain a special track piece terminated with regular extremities (joiners and center rail contact tongue)

Great thoughts, thanks!
You made me think about this a little more - are there shorter curves with the 5100 series of track?

I'll see what I can do to cut a section shorter - just need to come up with a way to support the third rail.

Thanks again!

Can you please post a pic of what you are trying to do? I've been doing this a long time and I never had to cut a 5205.
I love the smell of smoke fluid in the morning .

In the 5100 series of curve tracks there is
5103 1/1 30degree
5101 1/2 15d

Why stop there?

5103 is a normal 1/1 curve with feeder cables.
5102 is a 1/4 curve (7,5º)
