CV for ESU LokSound 4.0 in a bit jerky DCM motor engine

I have a green Re 4/4 II engine from the older Swiss digital starter set Mä 29859. I have just replaced the original decoder with an ESU LokSound 4.0 decoder. I’m using the motor settings proposed by ESU LokProgrammer. Running features are nice, except the following: When the engine is decelerating and finally stops, it takes an approx. 1 cm jump, and then stops again. I have tried tuning different combos of CV 5x settings, but most often some new negative features show up. Would anyone have a suggestion on which CV:s to adjust? I ran into a similar behavior with the Lokpilot/Loksound 4's in my Lima TGV's. Try adjusting CV 52. Try a setting of 35 or 40 and see if that helps.

Thanks Mark! I ended up reading the ESU manual, increasing the CV 55 for ”Parameter I” a bit made the trick! It’s really running smooth now. Note that the camera picked up a higher sound volume, compared to the experience IRL. |

Glad you got it working correctly. I have only had this issue with generation 4 of ESU decoders. |
