Hello,

I bought a 3793 with dip switches in coal tender, however I can't seem to open the tender up? In the booklet show rear top removes to see the dipswitches? However it is tight, I do not want to force it and break it?
Anyone know a trick to open it up?

Matt

It appears to just clip in. See page 34 of this manual. But there is more to it Confused

In this Video around the 4:30 mark you will see the screws that hold the bogies need to be removed for the top to come off .

Sometimes you need to slide a piece of stiff paper like an index card down to keep the tabs apart while you squeeze the others. I have at times used up to four(cut one index card into quarters).

Hi
You must unscrew the two screws, that also hold the bogies in place on the tender.
