		German trains era I-II and selected III, era depends on the mood, mostly Maerklin but i can be heretic if needed XD, heresy is no longer an issue.. LOL

The studs are solid parts of the rail. A rail is a rail no matter if it's a rail for train wheels or a power pickup. Generally speaking Maerklin AC is based on the three rail concept in the "real" world. Have a good day

For those distressed that it has dragged on a bit, don't forget that we are two moderators down and the remainder are in scattered time-zones so response may not be a quick as some would like.
