Hi all
Is you use a “6021 Connect” to link a 6021 to a CS do you remove the black and white transformer that connects the 6021 to the track and replace with a CS booster and track box? So basic question is - how do you power track and older controllers?
I don’t have a CS yet just trying to workout how to integrate with existing layout and keeping older 6021 and 80f controllers as well as a Central Station.

Thank you.

Suggest you read the 60128 manual first, if you haven't already.

Also, articles like this one can be of use

1. use your old black and white transformer to power the 6021 and 80f controllers etc.
2. remove any connection between the 6021 etc and the tracks.
3. Use a Switched Mode Power Pack to power the CS3 and the tracks.
No track box is necessary.

If you plan to use a booster, eg the 60175, you can power that with a Switched Mode Power Pack or your old black and white transformer. (A Switched Mode Power Pack is recommended.)
You can also power old accessories etc with the old transformers.

(i have a cs3 and a 6021 Connec, I also have tested using the old transformer to power a 60175, but the track voltage is a bit high when I use that combination.)
