Hello

How do we connect the 74042 to the back of the Captura de Ecra (1163) - Copia_LI.jpg z21?

1-do we cut one end and make a connection to a green phoenix connector?

2-do we need a stronger 12 awg wire?Captura de Ecra (1159) - Copia.png

Also; how do you call a system that is composed of 3 rail C-track + z21 controller and software + Marklin 3 rail locomotives and Marklin rolling stock?

Thank you.

Best Regards

Lusito

Cut the 74042 in the middle and you have two feeder wires. Use a plug at the end.
When the layout grows you can use a bigger bus wire. When you make your own feeder tracks, you can solder the blank ends to the tabs of the C track.
I would not trust the plug connections for C track that is glued or screwed to the layout.

A digital three-rail layout.

Hello H0

Thank you very much for your reply.

Cutting the wire in 2 parts is a good idea!
