Cool

I don't think your Märklin locos are gauge 1 BigGrin

Only the MAXI range of gauge 1 had pickup shoes, and
there has never been a croc in the MAXI range Blink

Per.

Cool

No, Im pretty sure they are Marklin Gauge 1 as I've been operating for 30 years.....and 100% not Maxi....

They are referred to as pickup shoes in the manual, but are not the same as Maxi which slide along the rails, meaning these pickup shoes supply power from behind the wheels by sliding against the back of the wheel. Pretty common actually so I assume you are not that familiar with locos 5517, 5758 etc as these have them as an examples.

Thanks

Ok, I see, have you tried eBay ? The German eBay would be the best I think,,,
You can also try ETS (www.modelleisenbahn.com) big store outside Stuttgart, they have a lot of old trains
There is also many older dealers around that might have but to find the one store that does have it well that is not easy,,,

Maybe someone else have any idea ?
