Does anyone know if there is a decoder specifically designed to fit under and operate a 'C' track uncoupler? I've seen a you tube video of someone fitting one but can't find any info' on it.

Hi In the Märklin range there is no decoder to fit under the C rails except the normal switch decoder and triple switch decoder. When Märklin released their first mega digital starter kit (2602 around 1989) it included a digital uncoupler (a full size M rail). In case you want to have a carpet train you can hide a switch decoder in a rail attached to the uncoupler rail. For all other purposes I recommend a K83 unit Here is my C rail uncouplers in operation with K83 and Rocrail https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzgCvLKjq8ICheers Jean |
