It seems CS3 will not upgrade for a while so long as the new digital book are not arrived out yet?
I suppose we owner to the CS3 will have to wait at least 6-7 months to another next upgrade?

Hi Goofy, is there anything special you will wait for? Or something still not working? My CS3Plus is working fine and I think it is already quite ready.RollEyes RollEyes

What do you mean?

You have just contradicted yourself, on the one hand you say Marklin will always upgrade the system when there is something to download (upgrade??) then you said it would be 6 to 7 months before the next upgrade.

Which is it??

To my way of thinking this topic is a non event and pointless nonsense - Marklin will upgrade the CS3 when they see a need to, not on Goofy's timetable.

Had CS3 PLus for more than a year and not upgraded. No need at present as it does what I want. What is the rush to change what you already have.
Take care I like Marklin and will defend the worlds greatest model rail manufacturer.

The problem are the new digital book which present version 2.0.
Under that time before Märklin arrive out the book, there is no upgrade for the system which Märklin will not waste of time by produce the new digital book.
It´s just like same about somebody who did present new CD-rom with the version 1.3.3!
This CD-rom are waste to buy it.
Next time Märklin upgrade to higher version, do you buy another new digital book present for the new upgraded version?? Confused

Methinks Per has a list of Goofy quotes for quick reference.....Wink

This whole upgrade issue is no different to the issue Microsoft has with Windows. Their software upgrades have always been ahead of the printed documentation, although Microsoft do keep their online documentation up to date fairly well. Maybe that's where Marklin should be looking to house Central Station and other documentation.

I haven't seen the new CS3 book, but I wonder if it is just a collation of articles that have already appeared in the Marklin Magazine.

The problem with the CS3 takes longer time to wait for upgrades.
You cannot get new upgrades so long as the new digital book has not been arrived out to the market.
I wonder too if this is normal for customer by wait so long time to upgrade the system?
What exactly are Märklin doing?
The new digital book is only reference to version 2.0.

Anybody know what these upgrades are and why must I have them. What should come first .. a book or an upgrade. The book I have covers my current CS3 Plus so that will do me for the foreseeable future.

The manual of the CS3 are still same and Märklin has not even upgraded manual.
I watch sometimes CS3 in the Youtube present by Märklin to check after tip.
But theirs video is not so much good information that cover all questions about CS3.
Hopefully the new digital book will cover all questions with the answers about new version 2.0.

Which book specifically?

Marklin have several books on digital that have been translated into English. The most recent is the one on the cs3 (unfortunately they don't seem to like the English version any more) that deals with software revisions before version 2, which the new book just announced in the new items brochure handles. A new version of the book is being produced as the version 2 software has introduced some significant changes.

I wonder if Goofy's posts will ever get translated to actual English.
I've read this whole thread and I still don't understand what the actual point/question/issue is.

03092 is the English version of 03082. Marklin hasn't announced an English version of 03083 yet.
