Unless the following picture is a fake, it (almost unbelievably) seems that Märklin has adapted/changed the mold for the 39422 model of the blue SBB Re 4/4 I to reflect the prototypical 1950's construction of the ventilation grilles: https://www.modellbahnsh...2/de/modell_332205.html#In some early "Handmuster" pictures, the model was shown with the later double row of "Düsenlüftungsgitter" (translation possibly something like jet or nozzle ventilation grilles) which were only introduced in the 1960's when Re 4/4 I 409 / 10009 was no longer blue.

I am glad to see, if this is the case, that they took my email into consideration. I am sure that I was not the only one to bring this to their attention. It seems that they also changed some of the other details on the lok body.  I will start laughing uncontrollably if they bring out the 43410 in blue as a Summer New Item though. Best regards Mike C
