Hello,

I am new into the miniture world of train, I am trying to set up some uncoupler with a M83 decoder and a CS3 using MM not DCC, when I do a FMX search, it does find the turnout tracks, but not the Uncoupler Track. I tried to set them manually, but it does not seems to work. You can see the picture below of the set up. If someone could help me to solve this little problem.

Thanks.

Märklin offers plenty of information for the CS 3. Unfortunately most of this documentation is only in German available. If you do not understand the German, please come back here with your questions.

Here is the article as to add a uncoupler to a CS 3 with a m83 (art. #60831 only MM. DCC format) or a m83 (art #60832 mfx, MM, DCC format).

http://streaming.maerkli...einsetzen_MM_2018_02.pdf

Picture of the CS 3 settings see page 30 and cabling plan page 31.

You find this article and much more for the CS 3 at Mäerklins website too. But only at the German version!

Thanks again.

This sounds good, because meanwhile Maerklin offers teaching videos for the CS 3 as well. But again only with German language.

If you are interest in the Maerklin YouTube channel, please start here:

I am not sure how similar the M83 and M84 are but this is how I was able to connect the uncoupler track symbol to my CS3+ https://www.marklin-user...652-m84-screen-questions
