I want to bring in some british trains but dont want to break the bank or make a conversion.
I found Hornby Dublo which also runs on 3-Rail but on 12 volt DC.
I'm running my layout on that little infrared controller.
Do I need a new transformer to run Hornby Dublo on Marklin track?

You would need to have a 12v dc controller, and you would need to run it on the earlier 3 rail Marklin track as the dublo sliders might not work so well on the later pukos/.
I suggest you google it and work it out.
