It is well known that the wheels fall off the early Thalys and TGV models.

Another member ( klarinettmeister Offline ) kindly provided a photo of the new bogies in the 37796 model, which shows a claw holding the axles in place.

I have done some research using Marklin's spare parts database. The numbers on the left are the item numbers on the diagram

37796 (With modified bogies)
19 - E140748 E147641
20 - E141026 E147640

37791 (2011 Original Thalys)
19 - 140179 150614
20 - 141026 147641

37791 (2014 Tin Tin Thalys)
16 - E140179 E147642
17 - E141026 E147641

The highlighted part numbers are common across all versions and are the Font and rear bogies for the powered end cars.

Here is the modified bogies from the 37796

Here are the original ones from the 37791 (they are the same on the 37795)

This is the Front Bogie on the powered end car - E141026 - The wheels don't come off this one

This is the rear bogie on the powered end car - E140749 - The wheels don't come off this one either.

This is the front bogie on the wagon - E147 641 -

This is the rear bogie on the wagon - E147 642 - also the most common type on the intermediate wagons

Now the challenge is to confirm that parts E140748 and E147640 are modified..

Here are the parts lists (at 24 Jan 2018):

37795

37796

Can someone please translate the word Triebkopf that appears in the parts list? Google translate does not seem to know the word.

Hi Adrian,

A Triebkopf is a power car from an EMU or DMU.
