I have problem with 39552
When I put on the track and using MS 60657 and it only show function : Lights, Smoke, Direct Control.
While in the manual it have many function and sound.
Anybody have advice or similar problem with me ?

There is two of them.
39552 with the sounds
39553 without the sounds
Are you sure you did read correct the catalog number of the locomotive?
It´s not the 39553 you have?

Yes I am sure it was 39552, unless Marklin gave the wrong items, since it was fresh from the factory.

Using mfx, the MS2 (60657 is MS2) just shows the functions the decoder reports.
Maybe it's a non-sound loco in a "sound box".

Bought on eBay?
Read the description carefully. Maybe someone wanted two locos with sound and different running numbers ...

Is there a speaker inside the loco?
A CS2 will show the ref. number of the loco.

Open the body of the tender and check if there is the speaker.

It might be swap wrong loco at shop?

Check the running number on cab side?

39552 - 57 579
39553 - 57 584
