I don't fully understand your question but the two of them appear in the catalogue 2009/2010 which I have handy. The difference seems to be they are made to fit different skirted wagons. Both sets -at least in this older catalogue- have two regular light bulbs

Thanks,

It looks to me that the difference would be the construction of pickupshoe only?

Will the yellow LED be more comparable light shade like the old lamps?

I doubt any currently made lighting kit will have yellow LEDs but if you are talking about old ones that might be the case. Since LEDs became popular I haven't bought any lighting kit sold separately from Marklin. I do however have a few trains that have the LED lights factory installed by Marklin and personally I think they are horrible.

Regular incandescent light bulbs produce a much nicer and realistic light. You can obtain similar looks to light bulbs by using "warm white" LED's. They have also the convenience of producing less heat that could deform the plastic.

Regular white LED's can be very good when you use them on wagons that in real life are illuminated by fluorescent tubes, the effect is quite similar.

I don't know what kind of LED's Marklin is using on the current lighting kits as if I want to add lights I'll probably build them myself. With many modern wagons you need one pick up shoe only, current conducting couplers but in most cases you do need to buy and install the wheel pick ups for all wagons, I have bought several of those wheel pick ups but to this point I haven't used them.
