I posted this thread in the "Reviews of Rolling Stock" thread and would like to hear feedback about the slideshow attached. https://www.marklin-user...r-Models.aspx#post442402http://www.sendspace.com/file/tuwq1iCan you download and view the slideshow and does the format work for you? I did not know if I could upload it directly to the forum and it would have been time and space consuming to upload all the individual photos. Would you like to see more similar head to head comparisons (loks, coaches and cars)? Regards Mike C Top Heris, Middle LSM, Bottom Roco Edited by user 07 February 2014 09:37:18(UTC)

I didn't download this one, mainly because what you collect is largely different to what I collect. Taking individual photos is indeed time-consuming and some of the upload process can be tiresome. However, the system forces you to add descriptions of the photos and presumably this text is searchable via the forum search function. I'm adding my Marklin stuff back into the forum on that basis. It's also harder for those of us that LEAVE THE FORUM to delete the individual photos as part of a temporary hissy-fit. This sort of photographic record will help people decide if they they really like the model before they buy it. Firstly the quality of most pictures supplied by all manufacturers never seems to do the model in question any justice; secondly it helps those of us that don't have ready access to a shop to wander into and just browse, to view the model in detail. From my perspective, continue as you see fit; any contribution is valuable. |
