I spotted one of these Horst Günther oil tender conversions for the Br44 #3047. Has anyone made one of these conversions? It looks like a white metal pieces to go on top of the tender, covering the coal load. Also included are some small detail pieces. Curious to see what the final product looks like once converted. TIA

But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

Would make an interesting project

I already have a newer tooling Br44 (043) with oil tender, so I'm not tempted, apart from the fact I'd also have to buy a 3047!

Hi,

I bought this loco (ex 3027) some years ago. I think it was made using the kit. But GÜNTHER was not the only one offering such parts.

I've ended up with an extra 3047, so it looks very tempting.

Hi Markus,
I think that is it. The detail parts in your picture seem to match those in the kit. Thanks!
