Hi,

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I just try to understand my German Koll's Kompakt Katalog 2012...

It seems like it is F 800 and maybe not 3008 or 3026? Confused 3026 has Telex. I can see from your pictures that the locomotive has traction tyres. The very first F 800 version has not them. Second version has them and it still has a metal tender with real coal load. Third version has a plastic tender...

What text there is in locomotive body and tender? Is the tender metal or plastic? I need more information or better pictures to identify it... RollEyes

Best regards,
Janne

Hi again,

Locomotive is a F 800, but plastic tender should have "809" or "01 097, F 809/1" if it is from F 800. 3026 tender should have these "01 097, F 809/1" or "01 097, 3026". Nothing about "3006"... Confused

3026 have fitted with telex at back.

Your model was F800.5 (1956) or F800.6 (1957) with wide coupling at tender.

I have a F800.1 or F800.2 with differemny tender (metal bogie).

Janne thanks again for your help you are correct the tender says 01-097 across the back and marklin on one side and F 809/1 on the other side so im still wondering if it is a 3026 or a 3008 or are those numbers interchangeable?

Thanks Tim

Thank you steventrain for your comment yes they are metal boogie with plastic covers over the boogie not die cast for sure... how do you know that there is F800.1 F800.2 F800.5 is there some sort of book, publication, that helps you with this or is this just experience.. Why do people have them listed on ebay as a F800 - 3026 or a F800 - 3008 they are about the 3008 is almost double the 3026....

Thank you
Tim
