Hi
I have just bought a Delta loco - Nr. 34612 (or earlier maybe?) RBB 460 'Le Lait' white with cows painted on it, and it arrived without the instructions in the box.
I opened it (thanks to the help of this forum) to see what the dip switches of the decoder are set to - to find its a "4" switch block - not the later 8 switch block.
This is the first time I have bought a 4 switch loco and without the instructions and the 'Code Table' in the back of it - I need to obtain a 4 switch code table.
Do any forum members have a table please or point me to one on Marklin site? Currently all 4 switches are set as 'on' (along the 1 - 4 numbered edge of the block) so it would be good to know what the current address is - but I need a code table to re set it if necessary.
All help appreciated thanks.

You can usually find the address tables all over the internet by way of a Google search. One such place you can find it is on our NZ Marklin dealer's website. Go to www.toottoot.co.nz , click on 'Downloads' in the left hand menu, then click on 'Marklin Digital Address Listing (pdf)' to download an address table. This includes the 80 digital addresses and the 15 delta addresses.

Ok thanks will do. Re the comment "Likely they are all off" - I don't have the instructions - so n diagram as to which side a delta switch block is of or on - so is the side the numbers ( 1- 4) are on - the off side 0r the on side then?

Normally the numbers are on the OFF side - and the other side should be marked ON. But they used different suppliers, so you cannot be absolutely sure.
Tip: toggle 1 and 4 and try address 24 - if it doesn't work, try address 56 on your controller (2 and 3 on).
All OFF should be the factory default. |

should also be an "on" writes on the on side of the switches? |
 German trains era I-II and selected III, era depends on the mood, mostly Maerklin but i can be heretic if needed XD, heresy is no longer an issue.. LOL |

All switches off = analog
In analog mode it will work with a normal transformer. In digital mode, if it is set for analog, it will take off at full speed. If it is set for one of the above settings, it will only respond to the corresponding address.

Yeah, its been awhile, have updated with the Marklin logic Some people want this stuff on paper, some as an App (if you want buggy - waste your money on MaDipSwitch), for some a webpage (javascript) will do. I've been doing it my head for years. The Web/Java option has become a bit more accessible with SmartDevice being always online (in the cloud ;-) ) making simple calculators in an App somewhat unnecessary. So it was worth a revisit.
