I generally take a new (unused) piece of sticky tape (the glossy variety) and remove the remains of the previous sticker by lifting it off with rapid up-and-down movements. Perhaps a bit difficult to describe in words, but the action transfers the remains of the old sticker to the piece of tape in your hands. After a while, take a new piece of adhesive tape and repeat the operation until the last remains have disappeared.

You can also try to soften the remains with a diluted solution containing alcohol (for instance an after-shave) and wipe them off.

Sorry, I can't accept any claims in case of damage to the roof. Wink

Hi,

I use this product and I'm very satisfied:

MELLERUD Aufkleber und Klebereste Entferner (remover for stickers and sticker-glue): http://www.mellerud.de/d...g/product/view/1225.html

They also have a Greek page: http://www.mellerud.de/d...tional/griechenland.html

Regards

Markus

I think WD-40 is a good idea. It's main component should be kerosene, so you may take that also (be careful kerosene is called differently throughout the world: It is kerosene in the US, paraffin oil in the UK, Petroleum in German). Lamp oil and smoke fluids (e.g. from Seuthe) are the same stuff.
Leave it on for few minutes then you should be able to remove the debris easily.

Best regards
Besra

If problem not solved Eucalpytus oil is very good at dissolving glues & the muck left behind from stickers (and smells much better than kero/wd40...)
I'm not aware of it damaging paints, but no warranties provided ....
