Hello to everybody, Smile

I would like to know if the new Trafo n. 60052 would be used only for light too, without the connection with the Mobile Station.
Thank you very much

With best regards [8)]
Stefano

Yes, it can be used for that, according to Märklin.

Hi Perz,

Thank you very much for the answer! Do you have just it?

No, I don't have it, but there is a booklet that comes with the "Feuerwehr" set that describes the two new transformers. The 60052 is explicitly stated as suitable for "conventional hookup of model railroad lighting".

Hello Stefano,

We have the new transformer in stock, and Perz is right.

It has only one connection, and you can use that to connect or the Mobile Station, or actuate turnouts etc, or hook up your lights.

Output of the transformer is 16 Volt AC.

Cheers,

Charlie

Hi all

Just checking the 60052 trafo - it comes with a special socket and hence has some limitations. For instance the 60052 can be used for additional power output for conventional operations in addition to being a source of power for the MS and the CS.

IMHO - not as versatile as the 6003, but output generates 3.75 amps as against 3.25

Hope this helps

Cheers from a muggy Brissy

Since you can create your desired length of feeder wire and have fat 60VA for the lights I really don't see any limitations. I use one 60052 just for that purpose - great device Smile !!!
