Hi there!
I need some help with the following situation.
With my layout i use Feeder Track 24088, can i plug directly the MS2 like i do with the MS1, or for this MS2 i need the Connector Box 60115?
Is it possible to buy the locomotive card separated?
Sorry for such a simple questions.

I have test the MS2 on 24088 feeder track but not working.
The MS2 must request new 60113 Connector Box only or plug into the CS2. |

Forget the conector box part...i just found the answer: "For K Track. This box is for connecting a transformer and up to 2 Mobile Stations. Dimensions 96 x 85 x 40 mm /3-3/4" x 3-3/8" x 1-9/16"." So my other question is: Is it possible to plug to the Feeder Track 24088 MS" in the first socket and the MS1 at the second one? Regards |

Hi Steven! Tks But they say that 60113 "is for making connections for a power pack or transformer and up to 2 Mobile Stations (60653)". What you´re saying is that i will not be able to upgrade my layout with the MS2 just by plug it to the Feeder Track 24088 I thought that it would be simple as swap the devices i mean just disconect MS1 and connect MS2 |

You need two old MS1 to connecter the 24088 feeder track or 60115 box.
But you need 60124 10-pin to 7-pin adapter cable for connecting a second mobile station to the 60115 Connection Box or 24088 feeder track. |

Let´s forget the connection of a second MS (I or II).
My question is:
Can i replace the former MS1 that is connected to the Feeder Track 24088 with the new MS2?
Sorry for being so anoying but i nedd to clarify this question. |

Hi, can somebody please help? Steven said that it´s not possible to plug and play MS2 to feeder 24088, but the plug on the MS comes with a 10 pin connector, ans the socket on the 24088 connector box also have 10 pin connection: So is it possible to plug, MS2 to the Feeder Track 24088, and play? The thing is that my layout im 4000km away from me since i´m in Finland (where i bought the MS2) and the layout is back home in Portugal, so i didn´t had the chance to try it. tomorow i will be at Frankfurt and if something elseis needed to plug the MS2 to my track i may try to get it there. |

It is NOT possible to use the MS2 in connection with the 24088 in any way. Per. |

No. The MS2 does not work at all with the 24088 feeder track. And you cannot use a MS1 as a slave to a MS2. AFAIK, you can use a MS1 and a MS2 together only if they are both connected to a CS2. The MS2 cannot be used with the CS1.

Thanks FMS for asking the question and everyone else for clarifying. I have a 24088 making its way to me from India. Glad to know its useless I had been hoping to do away with using the spade connectors. Tell me that the 24088 will be of some good - like it works with CS2. For MS2 then any alternatives to the 60113 connector box and spade connectors? Alok

AJ wrote:For MS2 then any alternatives to the 60113 connector box and spade connectors? 24088 contains only sockets and a bridge rectifier (same for 60115). Digital track signal is generated by MS1. Both can be used with CS1 and MS1. Unscrew the box from 24088 and use it like a 24188 ... 60113 contains the processor that creates the digital track signal. You can use a 60214 instead of a 60113 ... |

H0 wrote: You can use a 60214 instead of a 60113 ... Tom, i am guessing that the 60214 connects to the tracks with spade connectors. I hadn't realized that the processor from the 60113 was built into the 60214. So if I used a 60173 booster with the 60214, then the booster would plug into the tracks as well in addition to connecting with the 60214 via the 9pin cable. Using the 24088 as a 24188 is a good use although not what I had originally planned Alok
