Hi guy"s just come to find a set of left z gauge point where the plastic V is loks like to strip of metal are in place im missing one part the points are not working right and the point are all ballast into place can take pic but have probs posting it.mike

Mike, it doesn't sound good, if I read you right. You might be better off replacing the turnouts altogether.

I would test the turnout. I have had these metal plates fall off before, but was still able to use the turnout without difficulty. Note, if the plate does come loose (typically one end), it is possible to reattach. I have even used a little CA glue to hold in place. But most of the time, I just remove it. But again, test run and make sure the trains go through okay first before you scrap a turnout. It you do decide to replace it, save the turnout for a branch line or siding.
