I was very pleased yesterday to receive my Central Station back from the upgrading process, and to see that it had retained most, if not all of the old data.
There is one change in operation that I have noticed and would appreciate any advice you might have on it.
Previously, in the interests of keeping the track clean I installed an electrical timer between the power outlet and the CS which allowed me to run a train for a period at a particular time in my absence. When I wanted to run the train at other times I merely disconnected the power supply from the timed outlet to another outlet, replacing it when I had finished.
In the months that the CS was away I had the use of a Mobile Station and when I tried the same thing I found that I had to manually start the train with the MS - in other words the previous arrangement did not work.
I now find that the upgraded CS is behaving the same way.
Is this because there has been a change which prevents that style of operation or is there some other way to achieve the same end?
Regards,

This sounds like the behaqviour of the 'memory' setting is changed...or anyway 'different' now. If the loc does not 'remember' its last speed setting this can be set via a setting in the setup - advandced tab. There is an option 'Continues speed' (Nach dem Reset mit Anfahrgeschwindigkeit anfahren) This might solve the issue with this option checked? |
