On the MS2, when one changes the loco name, is there a backspace character at all?

If I remember there is one but not easy to find. I seem to remember something about requiring two fingers.

Review MS2 basics. Videos on You tube as well. Go to the change Loco menu. Select name, or address using the button next to the desired function arrow. Hold the shift key and Rotate the knob counterclockwise or clockwise to the number or character to be changed till the desired number or letter shows. Then use the left or right arrow to got to the next number or character you want to edit.
Once you are finished, push the check mark to save the changes or send the new address to the Loco.

There are two ways to enter loco names.
I always use the keyboard mode and with that mode you can move the cursor left and right as needed IIRC.

Yes, that's right.
But where it says "DCC 165-002" TRAXX [a made up example], I want to delete the "DCC " bit without
having to overwrite it with the number, which then shifts it all to the left. I was just wondering if there
was a delete button that would delete the previous character. rhfil has given me an idea.
