Hi all

Merry Christmas! Greetings from Canada.

I pulled out my big boy 37990 for a little exercise on the layout, and noticed that I'm missing one of the number boards that sit at the front at the top and are illuminated. The illuminated number is 4013. Somehow over the past six months, it has disappeared, probably in a previous vacuum bag at the dump.Blushing

Any idea where I could get a replacement? The parts Page doesn't show a spare part # for it to no surprise, I gather one has to order the entire new body.

I will also send an email to M, but a reply will likely take months.

Cheers!

In the meantime, could you not fit a bit of cut film negative?

It will take a bit more than that as the whole light fitting has fallen off, when you carefully compare it with the other side.

I am missing the top light on the rear of the tender, also lost a long time ago. I have pretty much given up hope of finding a replacement, but would love locate one if at all possible

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

Is the foam in the wooden box still OK?
I found mine (at least the housing...) back in what used to be the foam liner that has turned all mushy
The number itself (decal) however I could not recover, so will need to create one on decal paper or something....

Regards
Jean-Pierre
