I have some yellow 2-axle tank cars marked DANZAS

The one on the left is item 46422 and has close couplers. The one on the right has Relex couplers and the simpler walkway on top. I suspect it may be a commercial print run, can anyone identify it? Rail companies: SBB CFF FFS Zurich

Dale,
I think it is a ROCO 76780. Found one on E-Bay.

no, the Gattungsschild is different.
The ROCO model does not have the small text below the blue DANZAS text, different railing too. Based in Basel.

It is a Märklin model.

Perhaps something like this one, if the printed road number corresponds: https://www.modellbahn-r...sselwagen-db-danzas-ovp/

Here is a Jimmy SWAG (Silly Wild A-- Guess)Unsure

Could the one with the less elaborate walkway be a special Primex (as it would still have "Märklin" imprint on the underframe) imprint as it also does not appear to have data printing on the frame??

Just my 2 pf.ThumpUp

p. s. I can not quite make out what the small text under the "S" says

It's a good thought.

The 4440 tank car has been used for numerous commercial print runs, so I think that is probably what I have.
I don't have the Kolls special catalog that covers them.

As far as I remember, the Primex tank car was based on the original older Maerklin design with flatter chassis and metal railings, ladder and top rails without the round part at the top of the ladder

I believe it is most likely that this car is either from a start set or was released as a Swiss only model under the number 4441-9XX
