Hello to everyone: today I decided to buy from EuroModelTrain the TT 74862 but he told me that is no longer available and then he offered the 74861. Is true that the 74862 is no longer available ? Please let me know. Thank you. Regards

Carlos

I don't think that is correct, I think he is trying to sell you old stock.

Funnily enough, when you look on the Marklin web site for 74861 it says it is not produced any more, but when you look for 74862 it says Marklin have stock.

So print off a copy of each web page and tell him he is wrong, and go elsewhere.

I have dealt with Walter Menzel for years and he is both knowledgeable and extremely honest, so I think there might have been some miscommunication.

Eurorail Hobbies (assuming that is who you asked) shows the 74861 as discontinued and 74862 as available to order.

Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

In my honest opinion, save your money and don't buy either TT. I bought both and the 61 was a total disaster and the follow up 62, wasn't much better. I could never get the program to work and the small lugs kept falling out or jamed the TT. In plain English - it's piece sh#t.

Regards
Greg
Take it easy . . . . or any other way you can get it !!!!
