Hi Adrian,
Did you just do a software update? The early Version 2.5.2 caused problems though most often with the booster update (this happened to me). There is a new version on the Marklin website that is supposed to fix the issue but I haven't been willing to try it until Marklin publishes some information about it.

I always create a dated save before updating but if you can't access it not much good.

I occasionally get this when a track short occurs (especially with slider). Rerailing a train or wagon makes it go away after red button double press (no restart). Ben |

A standard MS2 does not have to connect to the web to update. It gets updates from the C3 after you update it. You unplug the MS2 before updating the CS3, then reconnect it afterward, then perform the MS2 update if A red DOT appears for the MS2 on the CS3 screen in the MS2 menu. The track box can also be updated, which I always do in case I want to operate my MS2 witholut my CS3.

I get the feeling that CS3 itself short-circuits during startup and after being activated from Stop mode.
Could there be any improvement needed for 12.113? |

This has been going on for at least half a year, since the update with the booster downgrade. I understand that Marklin doesn't have it's own software engineering development team and it takes longer to design patches and fix glitches.

Could be a booster that cannot connect with the CS3? It seems wrong update by Märklin. Not sure when Märklin will fix the problem soon or if Märklin change the program to older program which did worked better? |

I don't use boosters so I can't say anything for sure - only what I have seen other people report. I looked in the German speaking forum, Stummiforum.de and there weren't any recent reports about massive failures (going back about a month or two). This doesn't mean that there aren't any problems of course.

The booster shuts down because of high voltage which isn't actually there. It does it under no load within less than a minute when turned on. |
