Belongs to a friend of mine, was built for FAO Schwartz toy store in NYC in 1955. I would love to recreate this on my 4x7 fold down layout I have. He didnt remember if its 4x6 or 4x8 in size. Really cool and exactly what comes to my mind for running vintage Marklin on.

Must have been after 1956 as the layout has the studded M track.

If it is built according to this, it is approximately 4' x 6' as an information reference:Love

Does anyone have a SCARM file of this layout or similar for Z scale Marklin track?

That is a cool idea! ThumpUp

I think one of the keys will be the crossing, which I believe is 30° in M-track and 13° in Z - not insurmountable, but a consideration.

I am curious to see what folks come up with! Love

I really do love this plan, this layout! - Fun times!Cool

I am going to add this here for a continuity reason to gather and collate and cross-reference as many of the factory layout threads as possible - like a spider inter "web" Cool

Yo! Lizardking! Fellow Floridian here, although over on the "t'other" coast, and way down at the end of civilization LOL LOL LOL LOL

But, Oh Yes! I do not have SCARM myself, but a bunch here do! That would be so cool! Cover all of the scales for this layout! Cool Cool

Let's get this thing going! Love

p. s. and yes, it was cooling down enough here that I was thinking about "Raining Lizards" LOL LOL

Any more pictures of this wonderful layout? The modifications from the factory 0043 are interesting. The track plan is based on 0043 as Jimmy posted above, but I am adding a higher resolution image of that from the sales catalog. The sign at the back of the layout is really hard to come by so it's great that it's still there.

Here is a picture from my 0043 layout - I have just fixed a bunch of things and once I get some more photos will add them. I also started a thread here for anyone interested in seeing more of this layout.
