Hello, I have been given the above loco. I may have the number wrong but from what I can gather on the net it is correct.
Issue is it needs a lot of TLC.
Marklin no longer have the parts list with the exploded drawing of the parts on their site.
Does anyone have a copy please .
A Photo of the loco to helIMG20250205135926.jpgp identification is attached.
Thanks.
Also many thanks to all those that helped me with my point issue. It really helped.
Trevor

Trevor,

the model is a SEF800 or 3012 (NS).
The instructions/parts list/diagram can be found on eBay. There is a standardized sheet for 3011,12,13 and 14.
Maerklin reissued the Dutch version of this model in 2023-2024 in blue and turquoise version. 30130/31 are the numbers for the digital reissue from 2023/2024.

I think I have a online copy somewhere. I will send it if I find it
This is an older version: https://www.dolfmeister....ds/2021/06/3012-3013.pdf

Hello again Chris,
Would I be correct to use the conversion motor 60941 for this loco if I take it to DCC?
This motor does not list the locos that can be converted with it while the other 2 do.

Beautiful classic. Will you be leaving the petina or having it restored and new paint?

At present I have not had time for close study as I have been occupied elsewhere.
I want it to look good but slightly weathered so may end up with a general tidy up.
There is a bit of mechanical do do 1st.
That is why I was asking about the conversion motor. I think it is 60941 but am not certain at this stage.

You can check the Maerklin website for the instructions and parts for the 30130/30131 model to see what they have done to make it digital and mix capable.

Some of the early models had the large flat commutator motor, and would require a 60944 motor kit, with decoder of your choice.

Hi,

I also don't know what solution was adopted on the replicas 30130/31 to isolate the lamps from the chassis.
It seems to be complicated Blink .

As for my 3012, it is my heaviest model (over 700 grams),
and if there was only one model to keep, it would be this one.

My 3012 locomotive runs wonderfully well in analog, then she will be kept in its original state for a long time:

Best Regards
Joël

The bulbs are not insulated from the body. The decoder ist a special one which has an electronic kind of relais that prevents the flackering light when using mfx.
