The pictures are not too sharp, but the slider / pickup shoe looks pretty unworn if not new, so it would be worthwhile to try to reuse. Make sure there is continuity for the current contact! You may be able to repair your's by removing the base plate (see the eBay listing for a photo) and clipping the metal clips back around it Regards Mike C

No need to buy expensive part. By the photos it is just bent and you can fix the problem with a clamp or even with your fingers. The loco even runs broken like IT îs right now. I will attempt to fix IT anyway
