Been working with the Events commands in the CS3, including the If/Then/Else Macro. I feel like I’ve gotten pretty good at programming Events as they are working pretty well. The situation is that I have some 29 different events that are meshed (?) together. Up to now, I have been writing the event steps manually via pen and paper. Whenever I want to make a change, I have to write it down all over again. It would be much simpler (and faster) if I could send the newly edited individual events to my printer.
Who out there has done this successfully and how do you accomplish it?

Start off by connecting your computer to the CS3 with the VNC viewer I emailed you.

Al T What I do is to set up the Events into the different categories, and icons, so I can filter out them, and work better with them. Also naming convention is a key factor.

Thank you for your post and thank you for your suggestions. I do, in fact, much of what you have suggested, including the naming aspect.
Still, the biggest issue is that the CS3 will only display and allow you to evaluate/edit one event at a time. I would really love to print out the 29 different events so that I can evaluate/edit them collectively offline. Richard, in his post, suggested using an app which allows you to access your CS3 remotely — but I haven’t really seen how that would allow me to print out the screen.
For example: In the Marklin Digital Club, Curtis Jeung and Rick Sinclair will put examples of Events in their script — how do they do that? As yet, I have not queried them directly.
Thank you again for your post. I noticed that you live in Luxembourg; I lived in Mons, Belgium, for 4 years (1983-1987). Most of my Marklin trains are SNCB or SNCF, but I do have one that is CFL.

VNC Viewer allows you to operate your CS3 from a pc. Though I haven't actually tried it that might allow you to use the features of a pc such as screen print with the information on the CS3. The VNC viewer, unlike using your pad or phone gives access to Events. I don't have time to experiment with it right now. Maybe next week. Curious what the "copy" does. I think Marklin Dudes uses VNC but you might email them to confirm that.

Hi
I got an idea and opened the back-up files from CS3 in notepad.
Did no quite understand the logic in the filing system. Possibly a mix of abreviations of english and german. Nevertheless I found a text file I could recognize from one of my events… listing all the commands as text. However I am not a programmer, but even I can recognize e.g. A speed command, assume I could cange the speed, save the file and restore it back to CS3 with a modified speed in the event. But as said: just an Idea… have never tried it.

I start all events wit setting lok speed to zero. (Safety?)
Then in text the event will look for required blocks for route to be free, and when free set it to occupied. When all required blocks are reserved for the loco, the event will sett required turnouts correct and then issue a speed command.
Assume this is the S88’s referred in the list.
When I started making these events I was not aware of the possibility to use virtual contact in CS3 so I usrd a real S88 port to define all my blocks. S88 port not connected to track. I just use event to say occupied(yellow) or free(grey).. rather expensive and uneccesary. But it worked🤣
