Hello.

I do house clear outs via online estate sale auctions in my local area 50 miles north of New York City.

I was recently hired to clear out a house full of valuable old things including a Marklin HR 742 G train set in the box.

As I have doing a little bit of research, I have realized that this train collection has an avid collector base.

I would love to post photos of it, but do not see how to attach images here.

I am instead adding a link to the auction.

Any insights into the value of the set and ideas of where to sell it or alert collectors (other than here obviously) would be appreciated.

I have put a large starting bid $, as I am still trying to figure out the value of this set.

There are some on the FB group that have been very generous in their advising me,,,
