I have a couple of Locos that it do not have yet a photo in the Database of the CS3. I have a couple of questions:
1.- Is there any place in Marklin page where I can find the photo of a specific loco to load it into the CS3?
2.- If I want to create the photo, which are the valid specifications of the file?

Hello,
I faced the same problem.
1. Marklin page. I am not aware but I guess it doesn’t exist especially for old locos.
2. I added my own photos of some of my locos. I saved then as jpeg files in a memory stick using the file structure ..\cs3\lokicons. If I am not mistaken, the files cannot be too big. I made my pics 100 x 100 pixels. I am not a proficient photo editor so I didn’t change the pic background to “transparent” or black which would be a nice touch.

You don't specify why you can not find a picture of the loco. But usually you can find a picture online someplace. You can also take your own picture. Finally, find a picture of a similar loco - Marklin often remakes locos with an updated decoder and you can use that.

New CS3 updates usually include new model icon photos. You can upload a pic onto a USB stick, and then to the CS3 after properly sizing it for the pixel limits. Or directly from the web to the CS3. I've used pics from the CS3 database which are a same or close color or different road name or number. Then assign the correct names and numbers to it.
