How do you weld the wires of the SMD? I have some that are so very small.

And don't just answer .. "veeeeery carefully!" Smile

I just love people like Dale and usta who go on to get those little extra details on the layout...

I hold the SMD LED in some tweezers that have a spring to hold them closed. I work with a magnifier light. The wires I use are from old coils - see http://layout.mixmox.com/1/coil-wire
The soldering is pretty easy, once the end of the coil wire has been tinned, the solder pad on the SMD (gold?) accepts the wire very quickly. Use a fine tipped soldering iron.

I wish my hands didn't shake or I would try it. I use to be able to make a nice solder point.
