For a while my wife and I were involved in a rail motor preservation group in NSW, Australia. Even if it was somewhat out of place I'd like to have something similar on my small layout - sort of 50's - 60's branch line stuff. I haven't seen anything in my trawling through the limited Marklin stuff I have so would appreciate any suggestions from Marklin stock I might have missed or another compatible manufacturer that would run on digital C Track.

I'm basically looking for bogie style diesel railcars for that era.

Also, I created these pictures while laid up very ill for a while. Many of these rail motors were used providing passenger and small freight services in Australia's remote outback and the preserved ones are still running today doing many thousands of kilometres each year.
