So we know Märklin is celebrating a significant birthday this year with Z-gauge, aka "Mini-Club", and that's an awesome milestone.
I have a delightful item in my man-cave also celebrating it's 50th birthday, not only this year, but this very month (sort of, he says, vaguely).
It's the largest Märklin item I own, so who can guess what it might be?

Fifty years ago put us at 1972, is it your factory layout?

Well done, it's not the same as the one shown but is similar, and at 2m x 1m definitely qualifies as my largest Marklin product

I know your layout isn't as wide as that one, but your's does have the inner loop IIRC. The layout shown is the 1972 catalog layout. In fact.....
