Some interesting offers this year, though a lot is somewhat pricey and I would have to think about my overall budget for the year.
I will certainly order the Br065 and its train. The coaches seem expensive though.
The Br06 is beautiful, but I'll have to wait for a non-Insider version, or get one from a third party.
The Bavarian express train is also very nice, with the new tooling S3/6 and the coaches in those colours. Again, the set is very expensive so I think I'll have to pass at the moment.
I like the Br52, I have a Br52 with condensing tender, so this one would be quite different.
I might order the set with sliding roof wagons. Can't have too many of these!
I will probably order the new couplers. They might be more successful on someNon-Marklin wagons than the normal ones.
There's still some time to think about these purchases. The only certain one is the Br065. |

Roger Roger, Perhaps you could consider the Piko Ae 6/6 in red, which is very much late Era V? There are also the assorted RBe 4/4 (540) models from Piko. For me, the Giruno is going to be expensive enough that I am glad that there is not much more I am interested in. Regards Mike C I already have enough Marklin Ae 6/6's, four I think. And have the Piko RBe4/4 in NPZ with extra coaches. It was the first issue that I ordered from Eyrotech, I like this model a lot. Best regards, Roger |

Jonas, Roco has had the SJ coaches in their catalog with different liveries, including, of course, the brown livery of the 80's. They will be reissued by Roco eventually. |

Agreed Ray. -BR065 is on my list as well -I've never purchased Insider items before but the BR06 will change that for me. - I'm considering the 39595 Ce 6/8 II Crocodile...... but for some reason find myself instead considering the 39744 SNCF Class 150 X

I think the problem is they have not had other staff to help them due to covid restrictions so it has been just Roland and his wife run off their feet doing everything. I think this means they haven't kept the web site lists up to date, but they do have all the NI items listed in the general Marklin list.

I just received an email in regards to the new BR 065 and noticed Marklin has decided to go with unpainted boiler bands in contrast to how it is pictured in the new items catalog. I had it on pre-order already and now even more excited that it stands out more from the insider model. |

IIRC it was to be around the 9th of April, so I would expect the Summer NI to be announced around then.

One model that will probably be released soon/during this year is 39491, DSB litra E, 991 (based on the Württemberg C). Trix 25491. The 39491 will have a conventional smoke generator, 72270 (so but it might not be fitted) it will also have a cab light and a flickering firebox, and an extra light function. One thing that is interesting is that it uses the same motor as the late 39027, 39480 etc, and not the 37119 18.1. Wikipedia article about the SJ F /DSB E more pictures of the DSB E 991 prototype

In current supply/chip/war crisis, there might not be anything, or just paint variants of items they already plan on producing in the coming months
I'm guessing manufacturing the current list of upcoming models is a challenge enough at the moment... |

I have seen #994 at the Danish Railway Museum in Odense, Denmark. It is remarkable that a design from 1914 was still being built in 1950. Though no doubt various improvements were introduced as built. These are really quite large locomotives, not obvious when all you own is a HO gauge model. Kimball |

Märklin confirms of their own mistake of uploading decoder files? Of course they make Swedish SJ F 1200 like Heljan did, but probably not before 2023 because we got a new tool for Rc6 |

I am disappointed! Märklin present Swedish Rc6 with complete new design and fully metal body and the wagon carriage in black color which has never been exist in real prototype, now present a nicer steam locomotive for the danish customer. Should we swedish customer be happy too if Märklin present F 1200?? |

39491 has dynamic smoke price but it hasn't the dynamics in the smoke. The look is perfect anyway. Is this the special locomotive for 2022 or will Märklin announce another one in the second half?

I expect another loco as a surprise loco. This one was specifically for 175 years of the DSB. But considering its heritage, I'm sure there will be a Swedish version along at some point.

From what can be seen in the pages 26 and 27 of the manual of 39491, there are lots of separate parts that can only be used for display purposes. I think the E991 still looks very good running without those parts. I am very tempted to this locomotive. Edited by user 04 April 2022 10:58:46(UTC)

Hello, Does the tank wagons of Union Pacific that were used with oil fired locomotives, used to have the US flag like the one that has it from the 47918 set? Or is it used just for special commemorative trains? Edited by moderator 07 April 2022 11:05:10(UTC)
