Hi

I am converting a 54562 Maxi S 3/6 locomotive with the LokSound XL

The question is: Is the mA of the AUX function enough for the installed smoke generator or I need a relay?

From the specifications seems that is OK. 500mA the AUX vs 140mA the Seuthe 6 or 7 smoke generator.

Any experience in the subject please?

Does the 54562 has a Hall sensor or another type of circuit. Seems to me something different. Of course is not so critical as I can do that with software.

Thanks in advance

Costas

I'm sure it's a Hall sensor, I have the small PCB in my hand right now, the sensor itself has "248S 45L" written on it. Cool

It senses on a small "wheel" with 4 magnets.

The PCB does NOT look like on this loco; but you should read the topic anyway: https://www.marklin-user...-hall-sensor-colour-code

I don't know about the smoke generator,; but I know they use "a lot" of power Cool

Per.

Cool
