They would have been revealed at the IMA 2020 (Oct. 30 through Nov. 1). But it was postponed to 2021.

Maybe Märklin will reveal the models on that weekend.

Last year the IMA was September 13 through 15 and the model was announced independently from the IMA.

IIRC the IMA was not postponed before and time will tell how Märklin deal with this case.

Nurnberg Spielwaren Messe aka Nurenberg Toy Fair has also been postponed from February which is where most of the new stuff is announced and the years catalogues launched so it will be interesting to see what and when we will be encouraged to place our orders for 2021.

I suspect the NI brochures will still come out early to mid-January like they have other years.

The Insider items were normally announced in time for the Cologne IMA show which was mid- to late November, on the years that it was held, and around the same time on alternate years when it wasn't.

The Museum wagon is normally announced slightly later at a ceremony at the Marklineum.

They are different

Liliput is subserie E44.5 502-505
Marklin is subserie 506-509, more powerful

They are different in superstructure! So interesting!

Received the mailing today. The Z scale model is the V 188 001.

According to the pictures the E44.5 is a nice looking train, but it's not a steam locomotive, so I'll have to pass

Yes quite right and I really like this sub series, it looks unique and interesting with the different subframe.

Revision date is 1960 but optically no change from 1954 so it will be on my purchase list, I just disconnect the top light.

I love older electrics, so this model is definitely on my radar!

As I'm not an Insider I'll wait to see what I can find through other sources...

I really like the look of the E44, until I read the German version of the brochure. €450 is a lot even if you use a dealer who is willing to discount the price. I will think hard during time in my Xmas bubble 🤔

Well , I am a club member but I won't buy it - I pass - because it’s not my cup of tea. Btw: again Märklin mixed - cross matched cars from DB Marklin 43141 - "Donnerbuechsen" / "Thunder Boxes" Passenger Car Set from 2019 & price wise way to high ! ) Ditto.

The information will be e-mailed to dealers despite the lockdown. Why should it not leak as usual?
What value is there in the leaked information anyway? I need the new items brochures from all companies before I finally decide about my pre-orders.
A short list of uncertain rumoured Märklin items without details and without price tags ain't no use for me.

About 14 days until we see the complete Märklin brochures if they stick to the usual timings.
Regards
Tom
