Hello,

I just re-joined. I am b=very new to Marklin beyond Maxi. Blushing I have 1 gauge 3 locomotives a Marklin Observation car, a Diesel Switch 54322 (Maxi) and a KM1 Diesel Switch. I really don't plan on any huge layout
and I will be running one locomotive at a time. Will the Marklin 60065 give me enough AMPS to run ONE locomotive at a time ?
Also how do I know if the stations needs a software update and how is it done ?

thank you so much!

Yes it will. You could probably run all three at the same time if they aren't too large. The CS2 does have a in-built meter showing how much power it is using.

New software updates give you access to new features and also fix software bugs. The current software version for the CS2 is 4.2.9, so anything less than that version means you are due for an update. The process for updating can be found in this thread - it hasn't changed in the 10 years since this was written.
