And so we start on windows

This build is actually quite different to the signal box. The signal box interior is designed to be lifted out so I was able to build the individual exterior levels put the window frames in and then put the glass on. With this building I will have to put the window frames and glass in before I put the sides and floors together, as once the floors are in I will not be able to get at the window frames.

Here are a few more pictures

First up the interior doors. I have tried to represent a concrete floor and a green interior with a wooden door

Now there are four different types of windows on this side.

Window frames in from the back

and the front

One side done, two more to go

With two sides of the building done (the blank back wall was reasonably easy!!! it is time to start putting the floors in and having a look.

Each window has a "different scene in it. It is interesting contemplating the future as while this building will bee seen from all four sides (the back will be visible when a train with a camera goes past) the plan was to build a town at the end of Jöhstadt as a scenic break between Zittau/Jöhstadt. whether this amount of detail would be necessary desirable remains to be seen.

And with the roof sitting in place

If it wasn't for the edges of the chip board and table this would be a believable prototype scene ThumpUp

So while I have not been as productive as I could have been, the four sides have been glazed, pictures glued on the inside to give the illusion of an interior and two sides have had they baking soda covering put on

And a little arty picture showing the end of the building which is the view you will get when a train passes it
