With the current worldwide mail lock down what is mother M considering with regards to the order forms for special items etc for those of us who do not live in Germany ? Should we contact our preferred dealer & inform them that you are interested in certain items or just wait till delivery of the Insider to your home address ?

Cheers Tom in Oz .

Your dealer can order online at Marklin, if you provide them with your membership number and the additional three digit PIN (or whatever they consider it to be). No paperwork needs to change hands between you and your dealer.

My dealer knows my membership number and orders automatically for me. he does check on some items to see if I want it, but that is done by email.

Likewise, when I tell him I want something.

Edit: Truth be told, it's probably the same dealer!

The problem is actually getting it here.. We still have not seen Insider #2, and I believe that #3 is already doing the rounds in Europe..

It might be ok for those living in the area of the EU & Britex but for those who live in other countries which are not land connected to DE ,late mail is normal but when orders have a time frame to reply to obtain the goodies that you like it becomes a hopeless job . No info has been delivered to customers as what "M" may offer to overseas customers .

Cheers Tom in Oz.

Maerklin offers everything out of their product range to customers overseas. But they do not offer any shipments. You have to ask the carriers. Discussed at this forum already in this topic.

No Wolf, Tom is referring to being notified that insider items are available (i.e. the order form) so that he can inform his dealer of what he wants.

Tom, i would send an email to Insider@marklin.de (is that the correct address? Check your Insider magazine) to tell them of the delays and ask what arrangements are being made for late delivery of the magazine. I know they extended the order date for the Insider TEERam but I don't know why that was, it was too early to be due to covid-19.
