Hi Guys,

I have a 39103 br01.10 with the original c-sine motor. I was wondering about upgrading the sound in it, and wondered what driver boards are available to use as an interface between a 21 pin decoder and the motor?

Cheers...

Mike

Mike I got a BR103.1 #39572 where the driver board was defective. Long story short there is no driver boards available anywhere. So I gutted the loco & fitted a high propulsion motor & fitted it with a Loksound V3.0 M4 decoder I had lying around. Runs like a charm. I would love to fit sound to my Crosti Loco #39161 but just looking at the issues Eric had in fitting another motor I left well alone. My two cents worth.

I have not yet replaced any of those driver boards myself.

One report can be found here:

I don't know if this project is still alive:

Thanks for the links and info. Is there an English side to the rail4you website, and what does it cost for their driver boards?

Hi
No English page is available, but you can always use google.translate on the pages.
You can write to him in English, but you will probably receive an answer and price list in German.
