Hello to the members:

I have been traying to install the 8940 marklin signal with the 8588 x 2 and 8589 also x 2. I have been following all the instructions by I can't make the trains to make the signal to work when the train get through the contact tracks.

Hi Carlos,

Make sure the gap in the 8588 is on the SAME SIDE of the track, otherwise the loco will not stop as it still gets current from one of the rails. See my post using the signal 89391 in the Cortina layout.
